Ekaterinburg ZooThe Zoo offers a collection of unique, rare and exotic animals. It houses 40 species of animals that are included in the International Red Book and Red Book of Russia. In the three-storey Zoo building there are two floors exclusively for exotic animals and the other is the educational centre and junior natural history study group.
Working hours:
Winter time: Monday-Friday 10.00-17.00; Saturday and Sunday 10:00-18:00
Spring and fall time: Monday-Friday 10.00-18.00; Saturday and Sunday 10:00-19:00
Summer time: Monday-Friday 10.00-19.00; Saturday and Sunday 10:00-20:00
Please note that ticket offices are closing earlier.

Ekaterinburg CircusThe Ekaterinburg State Circus named after Filatov was erected in 1980. It’s unique building with a big top. The Circus is meant for advanced performances. Its hall can seat 2 800 people and by all rights is considered to be one of the best circuses in Europe. Interior is decorated with Ural marble and metal. The circus hosts many Russian and international troupes.

The Aqua-GalleryThe biggest exotic fish show in the Ural Region and one of the biggest in Russia, the unique show in the CIS that is remote from the ocean. Visitors enjoy exotic freshwater dwellers, sea tropical fish and other rare creatures, including a shark.

The Puppet TheatreThe Puppet Theatre is a member of The International Union of Puppeteers (UNIMA, Union International de Marionetistas). The Puppet Theatre was founded November 6th, 1932. In 1964 received a building, equipped with necessary devices.
After the total reconstruction a few years go, the theatre enjoys two halls with 270 and 80 seats. The theatre hosts exhibitions like Doll as a Reflection, Fall in Japan, Petrushka’s House.

The Young Spectator’s TheatreThe repertoire includes performances for all age groups. Since 1990, the Young Spectator’s Theatre supported by the Ministry for Culture of the Russian Federation and hosts All-Russia Drama Festival for children and youth. Since 1992, the theatre goes on foreign tours at least two times a year.
The Theatre Workers Union often awards actors of the Theatre (the best role of the year) and the directors (the best performance of the year).

The Sverdlovsk State Philharmonic Hall for ChildrenThe Philharmonic Hall located in the merchant Ryazanov’s mansion. In 2008 the mansion was completely rebuild.
The Sverdlovsk State Philharmonic Hall for Children is the first concert hall for children. Established in 1979 as a branch of the famous Sverdlovsk Philharmonic Hall. Now the Philharmonic Hall has 5 music and theatre groups where studying more than 1,000 children age 3-25.
Often hosts international and national youth festivals.
